....eschew any AV program for the time being, especially lacking any particularly pressing need.
That's been my chosen path since the introduction of MacOSX...until such time as there exists a significant VIRAL threat (not a Trojan requiring my permission to install), I intend to remain free of the overhead and potential conflicts that come from running AV software.
Freedom is never free....thank a Service member today.
