Got rid of it by:

I was at: Home>>Forums

Clicked on: Peripherals (12 Viewing)

I was then at: Home>>Forums>>Peripherals & Multimedia>>Peripherals

Clicked on:

Erasing & formatting thumbdrive

EDIT Clicked on: The GO button.

Which took me back to:

It was at this point that the (1) was gone. It was after this that I went to:

Home>>Forums>>Peripherals & Multimedia>>Peripherals>>sophos antivirus

and, for the first time, saw:
