QuickTime plugin:
I'm still in a quandary as to how I might put the QuickTime plugin (QuickTimePlugin.plugin, which is in the Library in the Internet Plugins folder) into Firefox 7 ... or at least find some way for Firefox to access it. When I try to bring it over using Firefox's plugin adding feature, it can't 'see' the plugins (ie, they're all greyed out when the Internet Plugins folder is opened).
Is there some other route one can go to achieve the desired result – without compromising safety. As noted earlier, Apple advised/warned that messing with the Library is a no-no, which is why they hid it in Lion.
