Wow! I didn't think sigs were ever verified (I've seen unsigned checks for many thousands of $ clear.), and I'm shocked that yours were simply bounced as opposed to the bank having contacted you as a security precaution. (I think that's an excellent reason to discontinue all business with that bank!)
