Not to rain on your parade, but the fact that banks are looking for more revenue is not exactly new, and neither is the target group of this particular plan. After all, it were the consumers' representatives who dared make noises against other revenue streams. Anyway, the article states that the charge is mostly levied as a test against which consumers who don't like it should protest, or suffer the consequences. So, protest away!
