1. I tried to fix my own plist to include nothing but Apple functions, but I couldn't figure out how to get rid of MenuMeters's MenuCracker, so...

2. After looking at my own menu bar I realized that app related items do not (necessarily?) appear in com.apple.systemuiserver.plist, so Sophos's not being there is not unexpected.

3. I can't even translate Hal's command into English, so I've got no idea what its output means.
