Enhanced security in Lion?

When I run a ping test on Snow Leopard I have 0 packet loss. But when I run the same test from the same source on Lion, I am advised that the results are indeterminable as the packet loss portion of the ping test cannot be completed. Turning off the firewall made no difference.

FWIW, my tests were performed here.
