I just completed the upgrade to Lion....still learning how to navigate without a full-sized gestures-capable built-in track pad.....I have a wireless Apple bluetooth trackpad that will do all the gestures, but I won't always have it with me when I'm away.
The whole process was very straight forward and painless.
