[i clean safari's caches & history & previews & unwanted cookies & unwanted local storage items multiple times a day. (ahh, my vacation starts thursday, and it feels overdue... perhaps some here agree). wink ]

Both, but mostly the former.

Then between our lists (yours, mine and andycap's), perhaps Ultimate Status Bar is the culprit, for those macupdate.com crashes which andycap and i (me?) are experiencing.
