For what it is worthm, I have SpinDoctor on my system and as far as I can discern there is no file by that name on my system.

I am not terribly surprised Spotlight did not find it since kernel extensions are by definition drivers you have to intentionally include system files before Spotlight will find them and Spotlight will not find package contents. However EasyFind, which uses an entirely different search mechanism and will find both system files and package contents did not find it either. I also used EasyFInd to search the contents of the files in the system and the applications folders for a reference to com.hzsystems.driver with no result.
