Artie: I never saw a "leave the disk appendable" message when I burned it. Like you said, maybe not available for DVD-R. Hey, it was only 16 cents!!! Hopefully I can find another one or two cheap disks to do what I want to do. A spindle would never get used up!!

may have missed the option by not having clicked on "Advanced," Rita.
I know the option was available to me for
CDs in Leopard and, I believe, Panther, too, and DVDs are apparently no different in this respect.
To the best of my knowledge, gained from admittedly
non-in-depth research, the differences between -R and +R CDs and DVDs do
not affect the session capability we've been discussing.
