Toast itself is not free but Toast Lite is, although I don't know if it will burn DVDs. I used to use it for burning CDs but upgraded to Toast. You can get the latest version of Toast from Roxio but I would try other solutions before spending the money.
Someone else may have a better answer so wait a bit before laying out any cash.
Your Toast Lite link refers to "Toast 5 Titanium" (Edit: Toast is up t v11.), Jon, and I couldn't find a d/l on Roxio's website.
Toast Lite may be a dead issue.
