Just bumping this old thread out of curiosity, which I found via Google. Has this buggy behavior been fixed as of Snow Leopard 10.6.6 or 10.6.7?
I know it doesn't really cause any issues, but I'll be purchasing a new iMac as soon as they're refreshed with the Sandy Bridge processors (rumored to be in a few weeks) and I just wanted to know if this is still something to look out for when running Disk Utility.
