It sounds as if you are confusing App Store with the iTunes Store. App Store does not catalog any iPhone/iPad apps, only OS X apps. The iTunes store on the other hand does not catalog any OS X apps, only iPhone and iPac apps. It doesn't help the confusion that App Store apps are purchased using the iTunes store account;
