Okay I checked the settings and the little box is still checked.
When I "get info" on the font it does not have any info about what program was used to open it (I haven't been able to open it) In the menu bar the "open with..." is dimmed, so I cannot select it.
I have looked everywhere I can think of for "Fontbook" on my computer (including spotlight) and I can't find it. Is it possible that I lost it. I do remember now that that was the name of the window that used to pop-up.
