OP kevs Joined: Dec 2009	My desktop has been shut down. But my modem and router are still on. Should not my laptop still be able to connect to the internet? thanks. Last edited by dianne; 12/25/10 11:43 PM. Reason: moved from Mac Desktops & Notebooks to Networking.
