My old 6100 60AV got infected with a virus back in system 6 days and it took me hours and hours to reinstall my data from a 150 floppy backup set.... Virus checking has become a part of my maintenance routines ever since. I run a virus check before I rebuild the directory with diskwarrior...every few months.
