It's worth noting that the Terminal command mentioned in the article you linked to—

defaults write com.apple.iTunes full-window -1

—and that provided by Ira in the opening post of this thread—

defaults write com.apple.iTunes full-window -boolean YES

—are functionally identical. That is, the -boolean option in Ira's version simply allows the user to substitute YES or TRUE for the integer value 1 in the 'Hints version, and NO or FALSE for the integer value 0.
