I wondered the same as artie, and would love to see a "Mark All Read" button for a category, not only the whole board. I understand (now) that the button is in the forum footer, and not unique to each page, but it's not intuitive in my opinion. but I tend to be one who reads every post anyway, so I guess it's moot!
