Interesting to note that on the linked page above, Safari's privacy tracker found and blocked 35 trackers. Most, if not all, were tied to the ads that appeared on the page with the article, an article about privacy and security.

On a Mac since 1984.
Currently: 24" M1 iMac, M2 Pro Mac mini with 27" BenQ monitor, M2 Macbook Air, MacOS 14.x; iPhones, iPods (yes, still) and iPads.

By comparison, I'm running Roadblock and Wipr, and Safari blocked only 8 trackers. All were apparently tied to ads.

I am running WIPR and Ad Block Pro and my results from that site match Artie's. Two are the almost universal standard Google Analytics and Google Tag services, one from Amazon, and the rest appear to be marketing related as well. Remember too...

Looking at the trackers over the past week I was surprised at some how many trackers some of the sites I visited have. For example vw.com is at the top of the heap with 15 trackers and my bank is in third place with 9, even our church website has 4 (but those are a result fo the system used to construct the site and when I enquired the webmaster was totally unaware that tracking was going on).
