Zenna Henderson was not just a schoolmarm and a writer. She was one of the People. She told their Story before she was Called back into the Presence. It is we who must listen and believe, for we too are of no different flesh.

I remember seeing her books 50 years ago (A Google Images search finds any number of paperback covers that I remember.) but never buying any of them, because from their blurbs, they weren't what I preferred to read.
She cites Hal Clement as one of her influences, which is understandable, because he wrote about aliens (some of which were humans) dealing with alien circumstances.
