I too wish to add my thanks to Tacit and all of the rest of you who got FTM up and running so quickly.
Like artlover, I was a long-time MacFixit forum participant until the days when everything went pear-shaped and Ilene was fired and then the big blowup in the Lounge resulted in people like UpHill leaving. I think I joined MFI back in '97 - when Ted Landau still owned it. Anyway, I was introduced to the newly formed Techsurvivors.net in the fall of 2000, after it rose from the ashes of NoWonder and that's been my main "home" on the web since, and I'm now an admin/moderator there. I still visited MFI from time to time, but it was never the same. Anyway - it's great to see something good rising from the ashes of MFI.
Anyone tell Ted Landau about FTM?
