Google Chrome Beta question

anybody else using the Google Chrome 5.0.307.11 beta? I'm liking it, except for a strangeness around Spaces: The Chrome window is in every Space. no matter which Space I open Chrome in, it appears in all of them, and if I close the window, say in Space 2, it is gone from all of them.

this is on my school iMac, 2.66Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo, running 10.5.8, with 4GB ram.

I'll experiment with this at home later, and see what I get there.

just a curiosity!

roger,

Just to report: I have Google Chrome 5.0.307.11 in Mac OS X 10.5.8. It is set to open in Space 2. I am not able to reproduce what happens on your school iMac.

Back up everything you can't afford to lose: documents, mail, movies, music, photos, and other data and settings.

thanks, dianne. I don't see it here either, but I'm running Snow Leopard on my macbook. I'll check my Spaces prefs on my school machine.

problem solved. I didn't understand the Spaces preferences, and had Chrome set to show in "Every Space", which I mis-interpreted to mean I could open it in any Space, rather than having it set to open in one Space or another.
