I absolutely hate my touch bar, and this may be my inducement to buy a new MBP. The new Great Equalizer is the SEND button. Currently: 24" M1 iMac, M2 Pro Mac mini with 27" BenQ monitor, M2 Macbook Air, MacOS 14.x; iPhones, iPods (yes, still) and iPads.

At the moment, I'm looking at the possibility of needing both a new mattress and a new desk chair, and my resources can be stretched only so far. I'm not really ready for a new Mac other than to get rid of the touch bar, but it sure is an appealing thought. (In addition, I may need to replace the keyboard and trackpad in my MBP to make it more salable, and that seems to be a major $$$ proposition.) The new Great Equalizer is the SEND button.
