Just recently began . . .

Usually, I do LEFT click and hold to highlight text to edit/delete/copy. However, this has stopped functioning. All the other features of the MAGIC MOUSE continue to work as set/expected.

I have "forgot this device" and rediscovered it using Bluetooth settings. I have RESET all the click/gesture settings for the mouse as well.

Any ideas?

How long have you had this mouse? They do wear out. Have you tried using a different mouse?

If another mouse (not brand new) does not have the same problem, then I'd say it's time to buy a new one.
