OS 13.6.6 I,m sure this has been posted before but since I changed providers, my outgoing mail is not working. Can someone guide me through the process to rectify this problem. I have an iCloud address and a gmail one, the latter is ok.
Thanks in advance,
jaybass

I'm curious what the issue and solution were. To my surprise, most of my old stand-by's are no longer valid in the current version of Mail.

The issue was that my email address from the previous provider, somehow amalgamated with my iCloud address. This problem was compounded right through my system and it took (2) agents to resolve it. The problem was having to find and isolate the old email address and delete it in stages. The second lady was the supervisor and she had some difficulty sorting it out. She took over my screen of course and had to backtrack several times before rectifing the issue. I may have contributed to the problem by deleting some items after the new installation. Never again I hope.

Thanks for the report. I got mentally "wrapped around the axle" trying to think this issue through and wondered if something like that could happen. The situation presents a Möbius strip of possibilities.
