OS 10.14.6

I want an emulator which will allow me to control my iPad from my computer. I have been looking at BlueStacks but I'm told there is no version that will permit it.

Appetize.io is the only one I can find. I'm not sure if that work. Does anyone have any ideas?

Assuming your Mac is running Ventura (macOS 13.2 or later), your iPad OS is (iPadOS 16.2 or later), both are logged onto the same Apple ID and have Bluetooth active:
  1. Place your iPad near your Mac.
  2. On your Mac: Go to System Settings > Displays > Click on the plus sign (+) below your display and select your iPad
  3. for Used as choose "link keyboard and mouse to"
  4. Click on Arrange and move the iPad icon to the same relative position in relation to the icon for your monitor

Drag the cursor on the monitor screen to the position chosen for the iPad and it will disappear from the monitor and reappear as a grey dot on the iPad. At this point your keyboard and mouse movements will all work on the iPad. You can move the mouse and keyboard action freely between the two devices.

If you want to remotely control either device from the other via internet, i have had excellent results using Screens.

If we knew what it was we were doing, it wouldn't be called research, would it?

joe,

As you can see, I have 10.14.6 which unfortunately will not work. My iPad is OS 15 so that's that.

I'm under the impression that it is possible with what I have. What do you know about appetizer.io, ?

Sorry, I am familiar with eating lots of appetizers including fried calamari, raw oysters on the half shell, jalapeño poppers, shrimp cocktail, and fried allligator tail, but not appetizer.io. grin
