Waay too much hype, re As for Everything Everywhere All at Once
Extravagant on all fronts + manic, antic, freaky, freakish, etc.
It's a "chimera" [hybrid beast that defies understanding] ~ a monster for our uncertain age.
You need to be wired differently to take this one on — and come out the other side quasi-intact.

"Chimera" is an excellent description of that movie. I found it "easier" to watch that movie in pieces over a period of days. Maybe I needed to do it that way to have intermittent exposures to "reality".

If that movie intrigues you, check out White Noise, starring Adam Drive, Greta Gerwig and Don Cheadle, along with others. It is not necessarily a bad movie, just a "WTF" movie that leaves you scratching your head shocked. Spoiler alert: it does have a happy ending. Better yet, make it a double feature of this and Everything Everywhere…. grin

On a Mac since 1984.
Currently: 24" M1 iMac, M2 Pro Mac mini with 27" BenQ monitor, M2 Macbook Air, MacOS 14.x; iPhones, iPods (yes, still) and iPads.
