As a subscriber to MS Office 365, I received an email offering Microsoft Defender as a perk. Having had less-than-optimal experiences with some antivirus apps, I am reluctant to take advantage of this offer. Does anyone have a comment about MS Defender?

My question would be what do you think is wrong with the protection that is built into MacOS and given Microsoft's track record why would their product be any better?

If we knew what it was we were doing, it wouldn't be called research, would it?
