mouse dissappearing

OS 10.14.6
The last (4) times I have booted up, my mouse disappeared for about 45 seconds before appearing. Anyone know how to rectify that.

I charge the mouse each time it tells me it is getting low, however, now that you have mentioned it, I will put on charge again.
I'll let you know if it makes any difference.
The mouse is the cordless type that came with my computer.

jaybass I have charged the battery for 2 hours and it is still taking a long time for my mouse to appear. Go figure. Today, after (2) reboots, my mouse is behaving normally.
