In what was apparently an extraordinary cleaning fit, I trashed the entire Extras container from my iPhone 5s, and I now find myself in need of the Voice Memos app.

Can I recover it without losing my settings?

Thanks.

I found Apple's Voice Memo app in the iPhone App Store, so you should be able at least to download it again. Which settings?

On a Mac since 1984.
Currently: 24" M1 iMac, M2 Pro Mac mini with 27" BenQ monitor, M2 Macbook Air, MacOS 14.x; iPhones, iPods (yes, still) and iPads.

Mission accomplished! (Didn't even need to enter my password. laugh ) Thanks for the heads up, Ira.

I was afraid I might have had to revert to factory settings.

The million and one I so painstakingly set under "Settings" when I first got the phone.

Now I can record my noisy fridge and call customer service.
