Let me rephrase my post. I just made post with an Apple emoji in it and although the preview displayed properly, when I posted it, the emoji and everything following it was a blank. I believe this is a new behavior or I would have noticed it before now.
If we knew what it was we were doing, it wouldn't be called research, would it?

The UBB software hasn't been updated recently, but the same thing happened with this post. Could it be a Safari thing?

It also happens in Firefox and Brave as well as in Safari. So far I have tested half a dozen different emojis and all of them have the same effect. I know this is new behavior as I have used all these emojis in posts for years.

I noticed today the Apple emoji characters display properly in Previews but not in the posted version. That was the initial purpose of this thread. Do you still see the same behavior as you reported in post #59891 (in this thread)?
