OS 10.12.6

I attached a 62mm Hoya CPL to my camera for the first time and upon removal, it wouldn't budge. After about 20 minutes without success, I remembered that I had jar top remover.

This worked like a charm. I post this in case anyone has the same problem.

Before I had surgery on my hand I stocked up on stuff I thought I might need while it was in a cast, and a Screwy Lewy was at the top of my list.

I never needed it at the time, but years later it was godsend. As you said...worked like a charm.

I have found that wearing a good rubber glove gives enough friction to remove stubborn lids, sometimes better than a mechanical device.
