OS 10.12.6

I have been trying to download imgur via google and imgur but after arriving at the final entry i.e. receiving a verification code, I cannot get one even from imgur itself which includes several "resends" I only have an iMac which

seems to make a difference. And this despite several emails from imgur. They gave me an url (twice) which requires one to have an iPhone even though I told them I don't have one.

Does anyone know how I might actually download imgur?

A search for "Imgur app," turned up only Apps — Imgur: The magic of the Internet, which is a cell phone only app.

A second search found
and the included URL points to the site to which I already linked.

There apparently is a desktop app for PCs <Get Imgur4Windows - Microsoft Store>, but...

Looks like you're out of luck on this one.

You might try ImGuru from the App Store, but I find Safari works quite well for all of my needs.

I have tried imgur from the App Store but I cannot get connected. Also I notice that one needs 10.13 anyway which counts me out.
