So much noise has been made about Biden's age that I was inspired to search for a compilation of the ages of presidents as compared to their life expectancies at the date of their election, but with no joy.

Has anybody run across one?

Thanks, I've seen that, and, same as every other compilation I've found, it doesn't mention their life expectancies when they were elected.

life expectancy is just based on age...a general average but individually, those numbers can be a lot different and really, does it matter unless you are into statistics.

And if you did find what you are looking for, what would you do with them?

Life expectancies have increased over the years, so Biden, relative to today's, may not be as "old" in the scheme of things as people are making noise about.

Which, of course, doesn't mean that he'll necessarily live past the day after tomorrow.

Just curious, that's all.

And if he does not, who becomes President? This link "explains" it:

Speaking as an outsider - from Canada - I am relieved that voters gave Trump (and Pence) the boot. Globally, The Donald is a complete hot mess and embarrassment to the USA, IMHO.

Best wishes to both Biden and Harris. No doubt there will be much of what Trump has done which Biden will have to clean up. I, for one, am prepared to cut him a lot of slack in the process.

Just wondering: If Trump decides to run again in 2024 - clutch my pearls! - is the two-term limit restricted to his first run holding office or, if winning in 2024, could he then run again in 2028 for a second (consecutive) term . . . although he would be 82 by that time?

A president is limited to two 4 year terms, whether they be consecutive or with a time lapse in between.
