I came across SSDReporter at MacUpdate. It looks interesting, although it only checks internal SSDs. I know nothing about it but I'm passing this on in case anyone cares to comment. Supposedly, it will check the SSD portion of Fusion drives.

You might also check out Lifespan and DriveScope from Micromat. Lifespan directly addresses SSD media while DriveScope addresses any S..M.A.R.T. media even USB attached.

I've been using DriveDX, which was recommended here. Gives pretty thorough reports on any drive connected to it.
iMac (19,1, 3.1 GHz i5, 12.7.4, 40 Gb RAM); MacBook Air (1.8 Ghz, 8 Gb RAM, 10.14.6, 256 Gb SSD) Vodafone router and Devolo Wi-Fi Extender, Canon TS8351 printer/scanner.
