Chief Justice Roberts comments regarding Senator Schumer are nothing but a transparent attempt to give Republicans talking points for the November election. Absolutely zero respect for Chief Justice Roberts and the Supreme Court.

I agree. And I thought it quite ironic that Trump, who threatened two justices last week, immediately jumps in with his inane comments.

Trump has attacked the judiciary incessantly, and Barr has even threatened to quit over his attacks, but with no equivalent response from Roberts.

Considering, however, that the Founding Fathers very wisely designed the Supreme Court to be immune from "paying the price," Schumer's choice of words was EXCEEDINGLY poor.

Somewhere out there, there's at least a double handful of old timers who are thinking back to the Roosevelt court and laughing themselves silly.
