Sierra. I used iskysoft 'ultimate' to compress a video clip 1min 5secs long via iskysoft>toolbox>file size 501MB>resolution: Smart fit>Format MP4, bitrate 60939kbps.
I ran it twice but the end result was still 501 MB. I image I did something wrong but I don't know what. Can anyone help me out please.

My son has helped me to resolve my problem. Hahaha......sounds similar to a neighbour who recently bought a brand new car with all the technological bells and whistles. He says it seemed like a good idea in the showroom but now he's thinking he may have to hire a high school kid to show him how it all works.

For the curious what did you son do to resolve the problem?
If we knew what it was we were doing, it wouldn't be called research, would it?

He put it into imovie 9 and reduced the physical length and then used iskysoft and lessened the file size until I could send it in an email. Got it down to 18MB from 501MB It was a bit cloudy but served the purpose.
