OP jaybass Joined: Aug 2009 Likes: 2 toronto Canada	OS 10.12.6 I downloaded a movie (MKV) 3.76 Gb and when I played it, it stopped playing after 18 seconds but the time kept advancing as normal. I converted it to an AVI, 661MB but it performed exactly the same. Is there anything in the menu or anything else that would correct this malfunction? jaybass OS 13.6.6 iMac (Retina 5K, 27", 2017, 3.4 GHz Intel Core i5, 24 GB RAM, 2400 MHz DDR4. SuperDuper. 1 TB Lacie HD

Ira L Joined: Aug 2009 Likes: 8 California	What software are you using for downloading and for playing? On a Mac since 1984. Currently: 24" M1 iMac, M2 Pro Mac mini with 27" BenQ monitor, M2 Macbook Air, MacOS 14.x; iPhones, iPods (yes, still) and iPads.
