Mia and the White Lion
Must-see 2019 movie. It took 3 years to film, with "Mia" growing from 11 to 14 and "Charlie" the white lion from a cub to adulthood — authenticity necessary to the story and to the real life relationships.
A tour de force by director Gilles de Maistre. Major kudos. Fabulous cinematography.
[I'd have given my eye teeth ± other bits of my anatomy to have had the experience.]
The lion (Thor) and his pride (4 lionesses + one other male) are secure in Kevin Richardson's Wildlife Sanctuary in South Africa.
