CUPS driver?....darned if I know...I just hit print and the system decided which driver it liked. Could have been Minnie Driver, for all I know.

It's too late to try anything new as I've already restored my Super Duper backup...just felt odd not to have my backup.

Just for future reference, if needed, the CUPS driver is the 10.13 compatible item here.

I think it's the latest one for your Pixma...released simultaneously with High Sierra, but it didn't run in MY Mojave...version error, so I guess it's a dead end.
