FYI:

MOJAVE is not compatible with 17-inch MBPro (early 2011) models.

The 2011 models are officially "Vintage" and by this time next year will have become officially "Obsolete". frown

But look at it this way, in computer lifetime terms, they have lived a long and useful lifespan.

I will hang on to this MBPro until it turns to coal. It has the built-in DVD player and the 17-inch screen.

I could give up the DVD . . . but really like having a little more real estate on the monitor which the 15-inch models lack. Every inch counts, they say!
