Is there maybe a terminal command I can use to block YouTube ads? They used to have short little ads that you could skip after 5 seconds. Now they are very invasive and happen every few minutes on YouTube videos. You can't skip them and they are at least 30 seconds long. It's so annoying.
I tried Adblock and Adblock Plus and Ghostery and Disconnect. None work to block the ads.

There's a link to an AdBlock solution that you may find helpful near the top of the page and an assortment of other solutions that I didn't even look at.

Thanks, Artie. The best one was adsfreeyoutube.com. I'd never heard of it. I will probably use it from now on. Adblock, etc., doesn't work for Youtube ads. They used to, but I think YouTube (Google) found a way around it and now the ad blockers don't work on YouTube.
I don't want Chrome. But, in the end, I found adsfreeyoutube.com so thanks.

Yeah. So far, I can find whatever I want that I usually look at on regular YouTube. Someone just somehow built or mirrored the YouTube website and was able to block all the ads!
