You expected something else from psychopathic megalomaniac?! The only resolution to America's blues is a Designated Survivor scenario. [If only ....] Kiefer Sutherland for President! (At least he's got the historical credentials for such, as well as the moxie.)

And, as though Trump needed to prove with certainty just how petty he is, we now have this.

Good one. And I guess we can add paranoid to petty . I laughed that the "researcher" on whom Trump relies is sure she must be correct because she "....performed the search several times using different computers, and the results did not differ considerably." I guess it proves that if a stupid researcher presents stupid results to another stupid person, you get stupid tweets.

The 90 days is a legislative statute requirement for trade agreements codified by law.
Trump painted himself into a corner: changes in NAFTA must be approved by all three parties (U.S., Canada and Mexico) and then require Congressional approval, which requires a 90 day airing prior to to a vote. While the U.S. and Mexico may have reached some sorts of verbal agreements, at the end of the phone conversations the Mexican delegate repeatedly said something to the effect of "as long as Canada agrees". He understood what was required.

Trump painted himself into a corner... I agree and I think it's because he is unable to understand that real negotiations are not a Zero Sum game. And neither is he able to conduct proper analysis. His threats about imposing huge tariffs in the auto industry are a perfect example. This is a good outline of just how complex the North American auto supply line is. Let's face it "Orange is the new Stupid".

This post seems to have been edited, leaving out relevant information for it to make sense (assuming, of course, that you did not mean to be insulting by pointing it at me [Re: grelber]).

"Glimmer" is the right word, but bear in mind that Mike Pence may be worse if he becomes president. He is a religious fanatic who would like the US to be a Christian theocracy. And, he's way smarter and slicker than Trump.

Apparently Trump and his goons are busy trying to figure who would have written such an op-ed.....studying the words used, the writing style, et cetera. Bob Corker, a Republican Senator from Tennessee, delivered the funniest line of all. He said that the White House problem isn't figuring who would have written such an op-ed....the challenge is figuring out who wouldn't have written it. Har, har har.

The more President Stupid Vindictive A-hole rants and tweets — this time with respect to Hurricane Maria and Puerto Rico — the more likely it is that he's going to implode. It's also likely that the mid-term elections will make him stroke out — please, oh please! If all else fails, perhaps the White House "resistance" will incapacitate him and put him through (preferably sloppy) gender reassignment surgery; that way he can experience the discomfort he has visited on half the population. Gaaakh!

The more President Stupid Vindictive A-hole rants and tweets — this time with respect to Hurricane Maria and Puerto Rico...... One of the networks was doing a story on people who were planning to "tough out" the hurricane. The story included Trump's advice to the people of the Carolinas that the feds are as prepared for the hurricane as anyone could be, while simultaneously trumpeting Puerto Rico as an incredible unsung success. The network posted a tweet from someone providing advice to the people who were not leaving. I don't recall the exact words but, essentially, he wrote: "Attention you folks in the Carolinas. Since 3,000 dead is Trump's measure of a great success, maybe you should reconsider and get your butts out of there."

The difference is Trump only counts those killed instantly by the storm and found within the first few hours. According to him, those who died later due to starvation, disease, injury, lack of medical supplies, power, or weren't found immediately, ie. did not die of the hurricane rather because they didn't have the foresight to protect themselves from days and weeks of privation or die where there bodies were convenient to find and count. It was their fault, not the storm.
If we knew what it was we were doing, it wouldn't be called research, would it?
