Yesterday Mozilla introduced the latest iteration of Firefox Quantum (58.0) which ostensibly is a quantum improvement on the initial version (57.0.4) according to the release notes. But much of the improvement seems to be directed towards the Windows platform.

Among other performance improvements touted is "loading pages faster by changing how Firefox caches and retrieves JavaScript". That might be so, but not so noticeably by me.

The TLS handshake issue is still a bit of a bummer.
