We have recently changed ISPs and are working our way through various wrinkles as they appear. One has us stumped.

Our old ISP was a company called Shaw. Although we are not longer linked to them in any way, my wife gets this message every time she opens Apple Mail on her iPad Mini.

Password Incorrect
Enter the password for the Exchange Account "Shaw"

My wife then touches 'cancel' which cause the dialogue box to disappear....but it will pop up a few more times while she's reading mail.

How do we get rid of this pesky critter?

Have you got any idea what "Exchange Account" refers to?

Go to System Preferences > Internet Accounts then in the list of internet accounts select Shaw and click on the minus sign ( - ) at the bottom of the account list. Then go to Mail > Preferences > Accounts and if Shaw still appears select Shaw and again click on the minus sign at the bottom of the list of accounts.
