You when you drag a window up and then you are in mission control? Is there a way to disable that drag up feature?

Three possibilities depending on what pointing device you are using...
  1. System Preferences > Trackpad > More Gestures — Uncheck the box labeled "Mission Control"
  2. System Preferences > Mission Control under Keyboard and Mouse shortcuts — check what shorcutkey is defined for Mission Control
  3. System Preferences > Mouse — check the settings for the various mouse functions. several can be set to launch Mission Control.

If we knew what it was we were doing, it wouldn't be called research, would it?

Thanks Joe, the mouse system prefs have nothing.

Keyboard, does, but it's the annoying (and it happens accidentally a hundred time over last 2 years), swipe up with the mouse of a window that sets off mission control. Still don't see a way to eliminate that.
