I assume that tacit's aware of ‘How to Transcend a Happy Marriage’, and I'm wondering what he thinks of it?

West coast to east coast just to see a play?!* And for one that Ben Brantley's review is barely tepid? The Off Broadway production's been at the Lincoln Center for less than a month and it's about to close.
Or are you asking tacit for a review of Brantley's review?
I suspect that More Than Two : A Practical Guide in Ethical Polyamory is more enlightening and entertaining.
* That said, I might consider doing such for the Broadway musical Come From Away ... had I any desire to visit Trump's Amerika. I'll likely wait for the road show.

...are you asking tacit for a review of Brantley's review? Nope, I'm wondering whether the plot is realistic.

Actually, I haven't seen it at all. Not even heard of it. Reading the reviews, I expect it's not really all that interesting. Sounds like a "couple tries this sexually transgressive thing, laughter ensues, at the end they discover monogamy is best" story.

To me, the entire thing sounds contrived.
And it doesn't really have anything to do with polyamory; any number of different catalysts could have brought it to the same end.
