I was under the impression that DW was, as yet, incompatible with Sierra. At any rate, that is no longer the case...

Apparently, DW has (recently?) been verified by Alsoft as being compatible with Sierra:

"System Requirements:
DiskWarrior 5 supports any locally connected Mac OS Standard (HFS) or Mac OS Extended (HFS Plus) disk including Fusion Drives, RAID volumes, journaled disks, case-sensitive disks, FileVaults and Time Machine backups. DiskWarrior 5 supports both PowerPC and Intel Macs started in OS X 10.5.8 through 10.12". grin

Edit - Originally a reply to Re: macOS Sierra, this post and the follow-ups were moved to a separate thread.

Thanks for that, Harv. And, see this about Disk Warrior Recovery Maker.

Thanks, Jon. I had forgotten about the Disk Recovery Maker. Upon receipt of v5.0, I call DW and the tech support chap opined that since I have multiple internal and external "cloned" volumes, the recovery maker was unnecessary. But whether that still holds sway, ah, now that remains to be seen.

Indeed I think that is still the case, but what if I’m wrong? Nah…
