What's with the little flame icon (gif) in the upper right corner of the Subject/Poster box for this thread on the Lounge page?
It's the first time I've ever seen that in these forums. And it would seem to be something only a moderator could apply.

It's an indicator - auto, I assume - that this thread has surpassed 500,000 views. (Hover over it.)

Ah so, never thought of that (hovering over icon). Thanks.
To save others the trouble, the box reads: Topic with over 1000 replies or 500000 views.

Hmmm... I think I've seen that indicator at least once before, but for a different reason...perhaps to indicate a trending topic?

Mods?

(Edit: Should this series of posts beginning with grelber's be moved to the FTM Feedback Forum?)

Does the moderator give out trophy icons, like the one here on the left next to 'Bob from Calgary'?

it is ironically appropriate to have a flame .gif on the Ad Astra string.

The trophy is a "Posting Icon" option between "Subject" and "Post" when you either post or reply.

So, it's like an emoticon?
